Yuma is the leading lettuce producing area in the country. Not that long ago it was unproductive desert but that sure changed once water was added.I usually stayed out in the Foothills area but do enjoy trips to Algodones although that will be getting harder to do soon without passports. It will hurt the vendors over there.
